This was/is my summer project of sorts, and I have enjoyed doing it enough to keep doing it when school starts through the fall. Still figuring out what all I have the power to do on here, but I like pictures and YouTube is one of the best forms of poor time management so my posts hopefully will have those to accompany my boring thoughts.

Originally the plan was for this to be a sports-in-general with heavier devotion to my beloved Tennessee Vols (see the June NBA Finals posts), but once college football gets going it will turn to mostly a Tennessee/SEC/college football (in that order) blog.

As for me, I’m currently a student at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville about to start my third year. I’m hoping for a future in sports journalism/broadcasting since sports has always been one of my passions. I’m from Memphis, but I was raised All-Vol so that’s more or less why I’m here.

It wasn’t til about a month before I graduated that I finally decided on Tennessee. For of my senior year I was headed to Columbia – Missouri, that is – because of the journalism school. But I changed my mind, and haven’t regretted it for a moment. I’ve loved being at UT, which I guess is why it’s in the title.

Combine all that with the withdrawals I was having from my days as the sports editor for my high school’s newspaper my senior year, and you have this little site.

It’s not exactly visually-astonishing or really even close, but of course I hope that I can make up for the shortcomings there with content. Feel free to leave me a comment, as they are certainly appreciated.

And finally I hope those of you reading it (if there are any of course) enjoy it!
