(Thanks to Al Michaels for this call as inspiration for this post’s title)
Boston is a bunch of thieves. They stole Game 4 in cold, cold blood. Mid third quarter, I’m thinking about at what point I was gonna turn it off. So what happened?
Quick analysis, Boston found a team that could play offensively, and simply got into a flow on offense. Meanwhile, the Lakers stopped playing defense. Then at some point, the pucker factor was in full effect for the Lakers on offense. They started playing tight because they had lost their comfortable lead.
I mean, do the Lakers recover from this?? Mentally and psychologically? This series is all but OVER.
I’ll have more than this knee-jerk reaction tomorrow once I return back home to Memphis for the weekend, in addition to a little prep for the College World Series that gets going Saturday.
